Lead the design and development of advanced polyurethane elastomer and polyurea coating systems for industrial, infrastructure, and specialty applications. Drive innovation in material performance, including abrasion resistance, impact resistance, elongation, adhesion, chemical resistance, and long-term durability. Develop and optimize formulations for spray-applied, cast, and hybrid elastomer systems. Oversee laboratory testing programs to validate performance against ASTM standards and application-specific requirements. Interpret analytical and experimental data to guide formulation improvements and ensure consistency and reliability in production. Collaborate with production, technical service, and field teams to transition products from lab scale to full-scale manufacturing and application. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to laboratory personnel and R&D staff. Support field troubleshooting, failure analysis, and performance optimization in real-world environments. Contribute to strategic product development and expansion into new markets and applications.
